Decree as prayed in the summons (see Action), made when the defendant has not entered appearance, or filed defences.
It may be generally opened lip (set aside) by the Court, on the defendant filing a note before it is extracted, or if extracted (entered), by means
of a suspension (see Suspension) or of an action of reduction within forty years.
