Guardian during minority, i.e., the period from the age of fourteen (or twelve, if a girl) to twenty-one. If the father has not appointed a curator, the minor may do it himself, but he cannot be
compelled to do it, nor can the Court appoint one for him. (See Tutor and Minor.)
