Biographical Notes:
Lived in the neighborhood of Elsrickle from the age of five; for nineteen years he lived in the town of Elsrickle before moving to Newholm. Around 1755 he settled in Skirling. While in Elsrickle he often attended the birly court on behalf of his father.
